5.  Accutane™ will NOT cure your acne and you WILL break out again. (Not to mention the insane psychological and physical side effects)

I could go on and on about the misleading skincare companies and completely ridiculous homeopathic remedies (Toothpaste? Seriously?) but these are the most common myths that I hear and see everyday. 

Acne is NOT curable. (Did you read it again?) It's an inherited disorder of the pore that unfortunately everyone will deal with for life. After 3+ years of acne treatments, I've learned that everyone get's acne for a variety of reasons and there are different types of acne. 

If you don't address the underlying problems, you are just going to waste your money or most commonly, make things worse.

When you join acne boot camp, my goal isn't to sell you a product and take your money. It's to educate you and give you the tools to fight this lifelong battle.

Acne is more than just a cosmetic disease...You can potentially get a serious staph infection or often times leave your skin with permanent disfigured scarring. (Stop picking your acne please) It's also an emotional that can leave you scared to leave your home or cause psychological trauma affecting every aspect of your life.

I promise you I will do everything in my power to help you and leave you feeling confident about your skin. All I need from you, is your commitment to apply what I teach you and DO YOUR ROUTINE.

What is Face Reality skincare?

Face Reality was founded by Master Esthetician and Acne Expert Laura Cooksey. You can learn more about her story here. She struggled with acne like so many of us since she was a teen and finally found a way to make her skin acne clear using clinical grade skincare, without taking prescriptions.

Face reality's approach is proactive. They teach us to modify the strength and frequency of your products as your skin gets used to the routine. Most importantly, they teach us what products, foods, and triggers to avoid.

Did you know your shampoo or laundry detergent could be causing you to break out? Maybe your acne could be related to an underlying disease such as PCOS? It's a lot to take in, that's why i'm here as your coach, to customize your routine to your specific needs and educate you along the way.
